A weekend in Nanjing

With the hot weather these days (30° or more) we start with some swimming in a lake in the Purple Mountains, not far from our university. After refreshment follows follows filling our oven to be ready for the weekend night-life in Nanjing. This food is pretty cheap, you can choose your ingredients and afterwards they cook it (I suppose) in some hot 'n spicy juice, served with noodles and some rice, you are ready to move a mountain; and that for the price of 7 Yaun per person (+/- 70 cents). This weekend we first went to café 'Behind The Wall', where they have a nice selection of French, Italian and Mexican food at a reasonable price. After some beer and a cocktail we chanced to our usual location; the 'Castle Bar', with the regular beggars in front. As usual the music was "great", but we are starting to know almost all the people there (mostly foreign people), so we have fun at this place until a certain degree of enjoyment...
